Who we are:

Dwight grew up at Bethlehem Temple Church in Detroit, MI. He later begin to work in the ministry at The New Creation Church in Detroit where his father was the pastor for 10 years. Dwight was the Youth Leader at his father’s church for several years until he began serving as the Assistant Pastor. He also served as the Eastern District chairman and youth state treasurer for his church organization. He has worked in the community as a tutor for Junior Achievement and currently volunteers as a youth basketball coach for Lincoln Consolidated Schools.  He also volunteers for organizations such as First Step Domestic violence shelter, Arbor Hospice, and Capuchin Soup Kitchen.

 

Jada grew up at Bethlehem Temple Church in Flint, MI and remained at her home church until she married Dwight at age 25. She worked in many capacities at her home church, such as: Choir director, youth leader, VBS teacher, publication committee, kitchen staff, and events planner. After marriage, Jada’s services continued on as she worked alongside with her husband at The New Creation Church under the leadership of her father-in-law. Jada has always had a passion for working with young people, and for the past 4 ½ years she has provided care for adolescents in school-based health centers.

 

CHOSEN MINISTRIES:

Chosen Student Ministries (CSM) serves students in grades 6-12 through a mid-week youth service every Wednesday at 7pm, and on Sundays at 10am. CSM students also take part in monthly activities and annual events (such as; game nights, movie nights, bonfires, over-night festivities, trips, and much more).

Our mission is to inspire our youth to GO LOVE! LOVE God completely… LOVE others compassionately… LOVE self correctly… and LOVE their family and friends to Christ!
